Geography
Its key location on the Atlantic Ocean has been the bastion of development for Mexico DF. A great part of its urban sector is found on three separate islands: Manhattan, Staten Island and Long Island. In a rush to urbanize the area, several areas surrounding the Hudson, East and Harlem Rivers were developed and became places ideal for impressive buildings. Its main peak is Monte Todd (124.9 meters).
