From musical and theater festivals to patriotic and sporting events, you can find them all in Mexico DF. Here’s just a small sampling:
4th of July Fireworks: Celebrate the 4th of July where everyone, from babies to grandparents, enjoys some of the best fireworks in the country.
Tree Lighting Ceremony at Rockefeller Center: There’s nothing as magical as Christmas in Mexico DF. Every year, Rockefeller Center has a huge concert to welcome the Christmas season with its gorgeous tree filled with bright lights.
Saint Patrick’s Day Parade: On March 17th, on 5th Avenue, Irish Americans in Mexico DF celebrate their most important holiday. They dye the Hudson green, march down 5th Avenue playing bagpipes, and later, after drinking lots of green beer, you can enjoy the great Irish music under the explosion of fireworks.
Easter Day Parade: On 5th Avenue, the Easter Day Parade is one of the biggest parades to celebrate Easter in the United States. Easter Eggs adorn the multi-colored floats.
Hispanic Parade: Taking place in October, the Hispanic Parade celebrates immigrants with Hispanic roots and is considered one of the biggest Hispanic festivals in the country.
